The current power crisis in the Philippines just show how inefficient & corrupt the GMA government is. Everything is all politically motivated.

Poor maintenance or lack of planning in the "thing" of Engineers unless politically pressured .

This is a repeat of the power crisis 25 years ago when the Aquino government stopped all project of the Marcos era including the nuclear power plant. Unknowingly, their actions affected millions of Filipinos but became a chance for their friends like Aboitiz, then President of Napocor, to boost their business through supply of diesel generator.

When will the Filipino ever learn to pick their leaders wisely?

The crisis is deep and extensive and will have grave impacts on Mindanao’s economic growth, price increases, and poverty alleviation now and for many years to come. If they have foreseen this that this crisis could be real, then where are the solutions now? This should be avoided in the first place.

Manu GINOBILI admitted that he and the San Antonio Spurs were not at their very best in their last against the Houston Rockets. Today against another familiar rival, he made sure none of that was ever going to happen again.
The Phoenix Suns are well aware the kind of damage that he inflict on them when he starts to roll. And that was the exact script with Manu posting 21 points, dishing out 8 assists, colleting 6 rebounds plus one steal as the Spurs rolled out 113-110 to win the game. He was once again, outshined the entire Suns defence who scored 17 points in total between four players.

I am looking for a remittance company to send money to Philippines. Has anyone heard of
E-zycash? One of my friends said that they have high rates and low service fee ($8). I hope someone can give more details about E-zycash.

I know nothing much about Nigers politics. But the USA calling for restoration of democracy is funny. What I fail to understand is the double standard of the US. Why did they support Parvez Musharaf of Pakistan for 8 long years to rule Pakistan.Don't tell me that the US did not know that he came to power by a military coup. When Musharaf came to power the US rejected him and cut off diplomatic relations with him. But when Musharaf agreed to support the US military attacks, invasion, occupation, butchery and slaughter in Iraq, Musharaf became the darling of America. The story is/was same in Chile, Panama, Nicaragua, Indonesia, Iraq, Columbia, Egypt, Yemen, Algeria and umpteen other nations. So the golden rule is:
IT IS IMMATERIAL WHETHER A DICTATOR, AUTOCRAT, MONARCH, HORRENDOUSLY CORRUPT DEMOCRAT ( ZARDARI FOR INSTANCE)HOLD POLITICAL POWER IN A THIRD WORLD NATION, WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS WHETHER THE RULER IS WILLING TO OBEY AMERICAN DICTATES. simple and beautiful rule. We love the US!
